Dr. Emily is a physical therapist and certified vestibular specialist with a background that didn't start where you'd expect.
She began her career as a pediatric physical therapist, which is where she first became certified in vestibular rehabilitation — treating children and adolescents with dizziness and balance disorders that most providers overlooked entirely. That work led her into an unexpected specialty: the overlap between vestibular dysfunction and dysautonomia, conditions that frequently show up together and are routinely missed when evaluated in isolation.
That path brought her into managing some of the most complex presentations of dysautonomia, POTS, and related autonomic conditions in pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients at one of the top dedicated POTS centers in the U.S.
The Dizzy Clinic was built on a simple premise: patients with autonomic dysfunction, dizziness, and vertigo deserve a provider who treats the whole picture — not just the symptom that happens to land in front of them — and they deserve to get that care without leaving home.
Specialized training in vestibular rehabilitation across pediatric and adult populations.
Experience treating complex dysautonomia presentations at one of the leading POTS clinics in the US.
Currently licensed in Maryland, with Delaware licensure in progress.
Most of what we treat doesn't require hands-on manipulation — it requires expert assessment, a well-built exercise progression, and a provider who actually understands the condition. Telehealth removes the barrier of finding a specialist nearby — which for patients with dysautonomia and vestibular conditions can be hard to come by.
The Dizzy Clinic is currently accepting patients in Maryland, with Delaware coming soon.
